It is somewhat hypocritical for any Westerner to sound pacifistic when we, as a society, are living off the spoils of war and military influence.
Very few seem to appreciate what they have today and even less appreciate why they have it. I wonder if the Western pacifists will stay pacifist when the cost of peace costs them their middle class existences, hmmmm.
