I have met a person from off here, but never really resulted to much. Maybe cos I have kids, maybe cos I am actually very quiet in person, maybe cos I was not as intellectual. But for what ever reason, it did not work out!!

But now I have another person asking me out, but I am not to tell anyone from off CS about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sorry if my looks dissatisfy anyone - I don't recall saying in my profile, I looked liked a friggin goddess!!

So why is it that I should stay 'hush' when someone is interested in me and wants to take me for lunch or dinner????

So............. Can anyone please tell me, please put me wise, what is wrong with me???? Why do I need to keep hush?? Do I really look like Quasimodo or something to be ashamed of???????

Maybe it'll 'work out'; maybe not.

If it does, then I'm sure you'll be (and he'll be) glad to go public,
announce that you've been "itemized" (that the 2 of you are now an 'item'), make a big public announcement on CS (giving him a nice, public commitment scare...coz men just love committment, and the sooner the better! lol)
Then you can do the "Hello Magazine" spread...maybe get the cover...

Then he can go on Oprah and 'jump the couch' while you wait in the wings...then we can interview you and, you can say how "amazing" he is, and that "he's really changing the world".

(Just don't let on to him that the truth is that "War of the World's" sucked, and that he hasnt' done a decent film since "Magnolia"...and that not only he shouldn't play "Iron Man" but that the only super-hero that he's qualified to play is Robin.)(And don't tell him he was a rubbish choice for Lestat, either). (You'll be ok, just humour him).

Ok...so let's say you do date Tom-...I mean..him...and....it works out. Ok, you go public. Fine.

Lets say you go public right now. If it works out, ok. But what if it doesn't? Friends always 'pick a side' at every breakup...and he knows that girls will talk...(how long before a string called "The CS Ladies Room" springs up, where the girls can get the all the gossip on him...what's right with him, what's wrong with him...etc...)

Even when you're both single, folk on here with associate the two of you as a couple...won't they? (or, an 'ex-couple').

As soon as you announce that your so much as meeting him for coffee...it's be all sorts of "when's the wedding" jokes...

and nobody needs that...

Hey Porsha, Myth is right, he dosen't want everyone knowing what he is doing.

Which is a good thing for you too if the date does not work out further than friends.

It would only become a problem if you dated for a while and you are still denied, which would of course indicate he is a player and beleive me, they can be sneaky!

But an far as I can see and not being male, you are a lovely girl!

I agree with what they say, but if you've been hurt in the past then it is easy to assume people are acting a certain way for the wrong reasons. (Been there too !!)

As for wondering what's wrong, if they make you feel that way then maybe they aren't the person for you.

Personally I think you are one of the most attractive girls around here !!!

Take it slow and see what happens. If you've been through the international forum, you will see that practically every week there is a couple announcing that they are getting together and then airing their dirty pants in public when it all goes wrong !

awwww hun:( i think you look pretty and youve always been a nice person to talk to,dont let one person put you off hunny,ive only been split up from my wife for 2 months,my confidence (that i cant spell) is at an all time low and all it takes is one little thing and it makes you feel worse,i know exatly how you feel hun, im going through it my self,my wife is a very pretty woman and some times i can be walking along and there could be a girl who isnt half as atrative who turns away from me,even tho its personallity that i go for moor than anything,something as simple as that will make me feel down and bad about my self.

Are you asking for free advice .. or are you prepared to pay for it in kind ? There are often simple solutions to complicated issues . I am afraid that is all you get for free

what you like carerra, im sure there are plenty of men who would like to take you for dinner, having children should not come into it, most people like kid"s, they are fun to be around some of the time, it say"s on your profile you are not looking, you do not have to be looking, to go out for drink"s with someone, you are right you are just you, the person asking you out is just them, if you think you like the person, then go out with them, what harm will it do, as for looking like quasimodo, er i know most people on here think your a good looker, i doubt if you have to spend hour"s in the bathroom getting ready either, you just roll out of bed, and you look good, go on go out with them, who is it anyway??
