Fair enough, but I gathered the OP meant, she loved the idea of men, man as symbol, rather than each individual man around the world. Just as I might say, I love women, but that doesn't mean I love Sarah Palin.

Thats what I mean. We need them. They need us. You can throw around the fact that women are their own person. etc.etc. but, I personally NEED men, not just want them. My main point was, we seem to spend so much time praising ourselves that I wanted to give a bit of the love to men because they deserve it too.
