Actually for me it's quite a useful site. I live close to Manchester airport and I regularly find myself picking family and friends up from there.
I can watch their flights progress and leave home as it pass over my house. Usually as I arrive they have just cleared baggage collection and passport control, it saves any hanging around.

My son is really into aviation and is always checking on flights for me and he said it is one of the most useful sites he uses .
