First reactions have to be that music with a religeous theme has to be dull and zealotry... I must confess that would have been my general overview some years back...Well intentioned as the musicians may have been, singing in praise of "there god" didn't fill me with enthusiasm... That changed when i heard this....
Staggering in its bredth of scope and as energetic as it is beautifull...Truely a modern masterpiece...
The composer, Neal Morse found religeon after his little girl, diagnosed with an incurable illness, unaccountably had a full and un aided recovery...the details will no doubt be able to be found in wiki or Neals own web sites...
Your thoughts and contibutions on this would interest me...
Couldn't watch the video, will try later! However it is my personal belief that most great art, musical pieces & great discoveries are divinely inspired! I have heard some great musical pieces in my life and always marvel at their perfection. I once heard one of your countryman play the flute so captivatingly - it will always remain in my mind. When I get a faster adsl connection, will look for it on youtube!
