What are some of your favorite authors or novels/novellas that you reserve for your summer reading or holiday reading?

Do you re-read certain books or genre's?

wave Hi Amahlala I don't re-read books. Some of my favorite authors are Ken Follett, Jillian Hoffman and David Baldacci. However, I'm reading a book now called "Serpent's Tooth" by Faye Kellerman. I'm only 85 pages into it and enjoying it.

I tend to re-read books that I've enjoyed. Last summer re-read most of the books that I enjoyed as a child or young adult. This summer; I'm trying to read at least a chapter a night or a book a month but hard to do with my granddaughter around.

I've read Ken Follet and heard of Hoffman and Baldacci, is Kellerman a good author?wave

Kellerman is like Hoffman and Baldacci, probably more like Hoffman. Jillian Hoffman was a Federal Prosecutor in Florida and she writes some hard core murder mysteries. Baldacci writes more about crime. And of course Follet is my favorite spy..rolling on the floor laughing I try to read a book a week cause I'm not working any longer. Sometimes I get caught up in the CS peeps and can't tear myself away to get back to my book........like now... laugh I planned on reading about 3 hours tonight and unless I have a cup of coffee, I ain't gonna make it...frustrated

I think I like "lite murder mysteries" like those written by the late Lawrence Sanders. Kind of fun to read. But I do understand how hard it is to tear oneself away sometimes from here....laugh

I've read every Lawrence Sanders book that he has ever written...the Archie series was always my favorite, it continued after Lawrence passed away with a different author.

Kellerman; Jonathan or Faye? They are married. I've read all of those also.

Jonathan is a real life child Physiologist and he explores true life Adventures that he has experienced into the depth of true life and fiction.

I enjoy the McNally series very much and will re-read them and found that the books published by Vincent Lardo after Sanders death were spot on.
