Thanks Steph...I would love to see more people get out from behind their computers and actually make face to face contact with people..socializing is fun...especially when you've had a chance to already get to know some of them from their posts on here...

I would LOVE to attend, I won't be able to though this year. IF you have another one in the spring Wikked, perhaps Brian and I can enjoy you and your charming company at that time.

I'm hoping to attend, seems I have a bit of shuffling around to do to make it though. BUT one thing to keep in mind, there will be people there that you will probably want to meet, however there will also be people at the restaurant & club- never know where a hook up could come from! lol

my best friend & I went to a local greasy spoon for breakky last sunday. We were talking & eating and the CUTEST, HOTTEST guy came in...we looked at eachother (after noticing not only his beautiful blue eyes, but his amazing butt!!!) and she says to me how encorageable are you feeling today? I said QUITE! We sent the guy an orange juice & then when he looked up to say thanks- I invited him over to eat with us... hehehe it was sooooooo much fun!

Sometimes the GT's are the only contact I have with people who aren't clients or daycare moms.
It helps remind me that I'm a woman as well as a mother and government worker.

I for one am quite disappointed with the lack of action from Western Canada residents on the Canadian Forum. Dont get me wrong i love CS but because of the lack of feedback and basically no representatiom from the west i have chosen to look elsewhere. I am keeping my profile here and i will post in the forums at times. However, i think my time is better spent on a different site and out in public in my area where there is obviously more happening.
I think more CS members need to post and contribute. My salutes to the ones who do such as Enigmatie Existnc, Jet, Twingles and Itmightbeme. For if it were not for them we out west would have no say in the Canadian Forums.

If I could afford the airfare (which I can't at present), I would attend the social gathering in Ontario in early November. I think it would be "a blast" to meet in person, the people that we chat with on CS.

But we all have to put an effort into it...
It was good of sum1ssoulmate to take the initiative to put together a "get together"...the least we can do is give some feedback...
The dates, place and time was settled on because no one said that any other day/time/place would be better...
Please use the sign up sheet that the Administrators have provided so there is an idea of how many want/plan to attend...it helps when making phone calls and arrangements for such a thing
Even if you give a reason you don't think you can make it it is helpful to post...perhaps someone has a "solution" they can offer...
I got together with some of my friends (including American friends) this past summer...and it was the most awesome experience...no "hook ups"...but friends i hope to have for life...
Give yourself the chance to enjoy this place...you never know what may come of it!!
