Is a person's picture on here important to you?...Why?

What is that you are looking for in that picture??...Why?

And what would you do if you found out the person you are speaking to is not the person in that picture??

Well to answer the first part of your question, we are human, each of us either like or dislike traits in other. The first impression will always be how the person looks. Is it right or fair.....no not likely. But we each know what we are drawn to.

Second part of the answer, if I found out the person I was talking to was not the person in the picture, what else are they not being honest about .....be up front, be honest, be yourself.

..."But we each know what we are drawn to."....

Then it is fair to say that there is someone for everyone, because we are all attracted to different things right??

to answer the first question..it is no

to answer the second question..if there is a pic of that person, then i look at the persons eyes..to me that is key to knowing a person in the slightest....a persons eyes can say alot about theselves.

and tho answer the last question...if the person in the pic is not who you are actually talking to....then i would have to why she is being misleading....

hope this helps

Is a person's picture on here important to you?...Why?

On here? I prefer to see the people I'm talking with, but it's not important just for Internet conversations. Now if you're talking about considering someone as a potential date then yes it's important. Physical appearance is important to me. I personally believe it's important to everyone no matter what they might claim. Why is it important? I've been on blind dates before and I've been extremely disappointed. And I mean "extremely" disappointed. I will never go on a blind date again. All the person is doing is forcing an awkward situation. That's totally inconsiderate.

I mean, they don't need to have a photo on their profile, but they should certainly be prepared to share one before any in-person meetings take place. Especially if they know what you look like. That's totally ignorant for them to see you whilst they hide behind the computer screen. Will that kind of lop-sided value system continue throughout the whole relationship where you will always be expected to be the partner who puts forth the effort first in everything?

What is that you are looking for in that picture??...Why?

Well in the case of a potential date I'm looking for a face that I have some desire to kiss. Or, maybe to put it more drastically, I'm looking for a face that I wouldn't find repulsive to kiss. I would also like to see a full body shot so I can know whether I can take my car to pick her up or whether I should take the pick-up truck with heavy duty springs.

And what would you do if you found out the person you are speaking to is not the person in that picture??

What would I do? Probably block them and ignore them from that point on. Why would I want to continue to talk with someone who is obviously deceiving me? If they deceived with a picture they are probably also deceiving with their words, and maybe even about things such as they age or even their gender! They'd be GONE. Much better to have no pic at all that to put up a lie. What's that all about?

~Yes it is. Because I like to know who I am chatting with.

What is that you are looking for in that picture??...Why?
~Well like I said. Its nice to know who you are talking to. I don't really look for anything specific in them.

And what would you do if you found out the person you are speaking to is not the person in that picture??
~Never happened to me so far but if it ever did happen then I wouldn't be too pleased to say the least and well to me that is lying so it wouldn't work or last long.

Hey...

I think reg1957 has the correct reply. We humams are all social animals, and as such, look for perfection in others. Mice, bats, butterflies, etc., are a few like that, so we 'humans' are no different.

It is normal to 'want' and to also be disappointed when our 'soulmate (ha ha) wannabe' doesnt live up to our expectations.sigh
