Rose1010: why do you need to hide? because they were younger?
I have two sons both know I prefer much younger men ... they say do what makes you happy ..fair enough ... I never interfered in their relationships ... I just accepted the women they chose ....

Rose1010: Yes ! You are absolutly wright ...but still ... don't you think that 10- 12 yrs is a huuuuge differece?
I think it depends on the ages of the people involved - if I, in my 50s, went out with someone in their 40s, I expect most people wouldn't have a problem with that (not that it's anyone's business and besides, I've always dated younger men )
But when I was 41 and was dating an almost 30 year old it probably seem a bit out there to some .. but we had no problem with it at all
Lerie2010: your lungs and heart would go before mine pet ... I could promise you that
I totally agree with Lerie on two of her points
The one above, and the point she made about maturity being more important than age.
I've said it before on here in another thread... my last relationship had a 25yr difference and we were together for 13 years. Her dad is 3 months older than me and is still my best friend... her mom is younger than me and still begs me to come visit.
So... who's got the problem with the age difference in your reference? Her or Him?
Neither?
Then the worry is about what *other* people will think? Hmmm...

I can't say it wrong or not but the main concern is mainly if it will work out or not. Some people might make it but some was unfortunately not. IMO, following the natural thing is the best thing.

time4fun4u: Look,we have all seen the miserable couples who are around the same age.If two people can make eachother happy, whatever the age gap, then best of luck to them.
evening time4fun today the new age peeps all like the younger and the older and it is the norm and accepted in todays world. I say go after what you want and be happy. I agree with you there are more miserable couples who stay to gether for convience rather than love than couples of same age happy staying together. I am refering to couples that have been together for many years and kids grown up and left home. Grab life and live it to the fullest be happy.

If two people regarding age want eachother. why should we worry what other people think.as an adult that is our right to chose whoever we want.....because thats your business not theirs.
