Interesting question Crystal. I honestly think i would stay here because i would have so much money the taxes wouldn't bother me too much. Would definately take even more holidays though

Helensburgh?....
a famous haunt of mine...half an hours drive away on a sunday afternoon....and ye get a great fish supper there!.. ...to be honest Ive not given it much thought myself....not sure my piggy bank holds a million but ye never know....
Anyway what would I do with a big yacht n ferrari n stuff?.....

Oh I love all you down to earth people lol....if I had a million or two Id buy a wee place in Dublin...actually I think their apartments are more expensive than the Monte Carlo apartments, silly stuff goes on over there when it comes to money...

That reminds me of a night out in Aberdeen when i asked for a fish supper with chips. The reply was "so you want 2 lots of chips" ? Fortunately someone pointed out that in Scotland a fish supper included chips before i made a pig of myself
Nipped into Helensburgh for a play on the fruit machines & an ice cream once ( as you do
) after going to the Scottish Open golf when it was played at Loch Lomond.

I would leave - I think it is London which is why. Some on here live in lovely parts of the UK, or even suburbs of a city. If you lived in inner London - in a very rough part - you would see the dregs of society and it would affect you. To escape to another totally different locality would be ideal.

Helensburgh is nice....and a quick whizz over the hill takes you to Loch Lomond...even nicer....

Well wow I thought it looked liked a lovely way of life... sunshine, no crime, no money worries....but at the end of the day I would have nothing in common with the people who live there apart from dosh so i think when I hit the big time I'll just stay put.......

Well I have a tv but I could actually do without it because I hardly watch it...and anything I want to watch I can do online.....oh but I couldnt do without a washing machine....I need that....

Helensburgh? What a coincidence, I used to live in Helensburgh in NSW, Australia. It's about an hours drive south of Sydney and from memory was named by the Scottish miner who discovered coal there? Great place to live, missed it terribly when I had to leave, divorce, sold house etc.
