Trish, I would like to meet all, but a few, of the people that post in this forum. So it would be easier to list those I dont want to meet, but that would be devicive, and wrong of me to judge people by what they post.

This was suppose to be the start of people meeting together in Malta; people from different countries. Instead it has envoled into chaos and confusion. Why? I do not know. 
Trish, i dont know whats going on, it seems that malta cs are having a party in nov, that is super for them if they live on the island . But i have had the idea that because its so close to christmas, that it may be a good idea to hold a get together after new year say the 2nd until the7th of jan ,my suggestion was to hold it in Austria, which is in the centre of europe ok its where i happen to live but it has cheap flights and good hotels at fair prices , but if our spanish friends want it there i dont mind ,but i think the idea is a good one ,and welcome all your views on the subject

Ok. I suggested posting a new thread like Dinner -- Drinks in Austria. Personally, I would give 3 date choices, and go with the one whose response is the best. I would describe where it will be and approximate cost. Everyone is responsible for their own accommodations. You could e-mail Wedward for his thoughts on which places are the best. For the ones who cannot afford it, e-mail Wedward and maybe we could do an online auction or something so no-one is left out. It's a gathering of goodwill from country to country. And you can never have too much goodwill.
Sorry Wedward but cant afford to go to Austria just after the xmas holidays especially in ski season there mega flight prices. After the most expensive time of year and compulsory holidays I will be looking forward to earning again. I am self employed and the nature of my work means I dont get holiday pay. ( Not after violins here by the way).
While there a few people who I would like to continue stimulated intelligent conversation with face to face , there are also people who I particularly wouldnt want to meet and the same applies in reverse of course.
To co ordinate a collective meeting of posters on here from all over the world is not an enviable task. I suggest that we all look to hold our own local ones on a regular bases and leave an open invitation to those who may be in a position to attend from outside. The outcome and pictures can then be posted in the relevant forum for the rest to indulge in at their leisure.

I would like to meet the people who I have engaged in conversation outside of the forums because the level of intellegent and engaged conversation has been so intense that it would be good to indulge in burning the midnight oil with some vino and come up with the meaning of life....

no problem i would go to spain or malta after new year i think it can be a small get together or a large get together but malta is to short notice can do after n/y but i wish malta every success it should be fun
