Yes thats true! Got the info and permission forms from my daughters school. theyre starting with 1st years and 6th years....

At the mo, the protocol is to give 3 shots over 6 mths.
I am very wary of vaccines..and like to research a bit before deciding on them. So I'm very glad to find that link posted above. Vaccines have a very important role in health protection but can be over marketed too...

My daughter had her final 1 last wk, they are given 3mths apart, I was told 2 hold onto her vaccine booklet incase they decide they will be needing a booster shot later on in life and it will be needed when she has smears in the future aswell.

I'd be incredibly wary of these vaccines! Dangerous isn't the word! I've read more horror stories about them than anything else recently. Just pop in dangers of cervical cancer vaccine into yahoo/google and you'll be overwhelmed with the dangers of it! Here's a few that I've read recently:

1300 girls have bad reactions to it:

And for those who only believe mainstream media's information - here's one from the beloved Herald:

There are always doubts about vaccinations. However, it helps to trust your doctor. Mine is same age as me with kids somewhat the same age as well. When I ask her anything about the latest scares about any vaccinations, she just tells me she give them to her kids. I mean, if there were any genuine fears about anything out there, the doctors are not going to experiment on their own kids, now, are they? Well, at least not the regular, sane ones anyway. dunno grin

No, initially I had 2 sign a consent form and she had her 1st 2 in school. She them moved 2 a diff school so over the summer I got an appointment through the post 4 what they call a mop up clinic 2 give them any they have missed. I totally forgot the 1st appointment then got another letter 4 a new date which I attended. I did take her friend along as she had 1 for the same day but it turned out it was only her 2nd 1 and because she was turning 14 that wk and they would only give them 3mths apart they were'nt 2 sure if she could have a 3rd one. They are gonna contact her mother about it, I think they were only giving them while she was in 1st yr and/or under 14 dunno They said they were chasing up loads of girls who were missing out on it. They even rang me as I was on the way 2 make sure I was gonna be keeping the appointment but its up 2 the parent weather their child gets them.

It is given out in first year mostly in secondary schools but some are getting it in second year because the fall under a certain age.
I help out in a school office and I know that in our school it was mostly first years but some second years were getting it because of age.

It is not compulsive lot's weren't taking it for one reason or other
