Plenty of disaffected Irish living in Britain. You'd never mention that though, only the Brits can do wrong in your little world.

What you say in the other thread is laughable. The Brits bombed Eniskillen? please! I thought Jim Corr was the only conspiracy theorist nut in Ireland!

The IRA denied or tried to deny plenty of the things they did. Their method of doing this was usually to let front groups take the blame, such as the Catholic reaction force, Direct action against Drugs, or sometimes say it was individual members who did things that were unauthorised.

skyblue43: Hardly a rule of thumb...more a title for a forum thread...

Hurling is native to many parts of Northern Ireland...end of. As such it is not a foreign game to Northern students and its portrayal as such is at best insensitive and and worst a demonstration of official Britains attitude to things Irish..

And I wouldn't mind but they have a similar game (shinty) in Scotland!
