The IRA denied or tried to deny plenty of the things they did. Their method of doing this was usually to let front groups take the blame, such as the Catholic reaction force, Direct action against Drugs, or sometimes say it was individual members who did things that were unauthorised.

i had a look at it and, id imagine it will be cleared up obviously it's not a foreign sport up there, infact the gaa was created at a time when we were still a part of the british empire so if you wanted to be precise both football and hurling are british
