Do you blame "others" for the circumstances your life is in now...or do you accept responsibility for it yourself??

Is it a 50/50 thing?...some is "theirs"...some is yours??

I like to think I accept responsibility. Guess it depends on the circumstances whether it is a 50/50 thing....

I always try to never focus on the blame but to work out the issues at hand. If we spend all our time blaming one another we will never be happy and there would never be a closure and we would never move on.

Blame is an ugly thing, I would say I accept that where I am in life is in part my own doing.......but.....

When the woman who has been your best friend for 20 years and your "soul mate" (her words) turns to you one day and says "I am GAY".....not sure how I can blame that one on me....what part of that would be my 50%?

Whoops.....did I share to much....sorry, the bitterness of living a lie for 20 years catchs up to ya...roll eyes

But on a happy note, she and I are friends again and hang out.....when her girlfriend dosen't know....doh

First, my sympathy and a <hug>. I have a neighbour whose husband left her for their male marriage counsellor. After quite a period of grief and bitterness, they've now got a great friendship and the family get-togethers include the other guy and his kids as well.

Your roles have changed, but I'm glad to hear you are still in each other's lives. No one to blame. Keep the good memories. hug

I am sick and tired of my circumstance in this life. However, I do not blame anyone. I accept full responsibility for my share of the reality.

I tend to blame myself rather than anyone else, I screw up I admit it, but sometime I blame myself when there is no need. And sometimes I do it to stop a problem from arising between two family members.

Personally what I have done with my life is my problem, I have made my own choices and thats the way I see it. if some one has done something to push me to make a choice and I choose wrong then that is my problem not thiers. So I guess I accept responsibility for the circumstances in my life.peace
