try this little program Tony, has worked for others that have had hotmail probs.
make sure you change your password etc

scary stuff ,if they can do that ,what else can they do?bluejay2011: I always hover my mouse over the sender, the email address will then appear. Especially anything from the bank. Then I block the sender.
There is also a way to block your address book from anyone else. I have it written somewhere, but I'm sure one of our very helpful computer buffs will post the instructions for everyone. Please

i run a program called "mailwasher" allows you to read with email still opened and still on your service providers server the first twenty lines, you can delete mail you don't wont. The deleted mail of course still unopened

That happened to two of my os friends... it was so damned annoying... and eventually, they had to change their email address
Its really important that if you forward emails on, you need to delete all the names of the people who forwarded it on to you, and hopefully, if all the previous people who forwarded it to you.. deleted the previous senders.. then it would be OK... but Jeez, you just cannot trust that this has happened...
This unsolicited advertising is ripe ... unfortunately...
