Have you ever in your life pulled your head out your... deranged propaganda long enough to take a look at what is really going on?
Well, I know Soros is behind it for one. That tells me a lot. Most of the protesters are friggin' clueless. Try another channel besides MSNBC and you might learn something.
And if you really want to get personal...we can travel down that road. It's your call.

The Million Man March was a peaceful way of showing our government the people are not satisfied. Violence and destruction is NEVER the answer. Our watchdogs and/or Grand Juries all over this country are doing their jobs by listening to the people.
NAKEDMUDPEOPLE: Americans want their Constitutional rights! We can live with little but do not take our rights away! The only way to achieve the rights of and for the people of this great nation is to do it in peace.
Demonstrations and protesting are a few actions that will cause this country more damage.
Do it in silence, those around you will know what it takes to overcome the government.
I didn't see any violence in those pictures the op sent.

you are correct, and a spokesperson was asked about violence and said that if the police stepped in they would be taken peacefully in handcuffs, I got the feeling they would not just disperse without that though. And to some otthers: though they don't all know why they are there,,,such as the small children, they do know something is wrong and there are more and more in this group, they say they are middle class, but I am afraid to say that I believe that middleclass is disapearing and becoming either upper or lower. And that does follow a trend fast in history past.
rohaan: It's a problem, isn't it? Think about this--we have quite a conundrum in the United States. First, the Revolutionary War was anything but peaceful. Same with the French Revolution. The idea that people can "assemble peacefully for change" is tommyrot rhetoric. There have never been significant changes without aggressive unyielding demands by the people. It's frustrating, because if you try to do those things here, which constitutionally we are guaranteed the right of doing, you risk being arrested for disorderly conduct or some other charge like it. So, do we, or do we not have those rights which were so costly to get (War of Independence) or not? Or do we, like the original colonists, have to aggressively and unyieldingly demand our rights? We can't have it both ways, and I for one am glad that so many people in New York, and now other cities, are brave enough to fight for what we are already supposed to have.
I agree. So should they storm the White House gates. Sounds like an idea to me. It would be good entertainment.
Thanks to all that have contributed,,even Freddy who got his feelings hurt and started his own thread, just for the record, I asked him if he was serious or just kidding around. he ignored me and before I could talk to him he chose to lash out in other ways. I hope that people understand that I am not here to ban people from expression, I am here to keep the thread from becoming a sideshow though. Thank Again. and Freddy, have fun,,and like I said, I just wish you would have listened and responded. Nikogas
Nikogas: it seems this thread is just free entertainment for you. I was hoping that was not the case and why I asked you a few posts back there.
Hi Nik. I appreciate your thread--I really don't know what the right thing to do is anymore, to be honest. Anarchy won't work, because it would become a bully state. A might makes right situation. Still, I think if ball parks can become so frenzied with unruly fans (i.e. the Cubs game in 2003 with Steve Bartman) then certainly we should let folks demonstrate peacefully in the street, in front of city hall, etc...A good illustration of the way our rights get twisted is concerning protesters some years back at a nuclear power plant. They were taxpayers, and were paying (by way of taxes) into projects they found objectionable, safety and health issues, Earth conservation issues, etc... but get this--yes, both the power plant and the government agreed that their taxes were being used, but they were not allowed to protest because the power plant had private status--a rotten egg if I ever heard of one. Make them pay, and don't let them complain. Dandy. In America! (a tip--ignore the "junk mail" know what I mean? )

I see what you mean..they ended up in a "private property" and had no rights. I heard the turnout in downtown Portland was very high. thanks for the input,,,I never get mail.lol. people don't communicate these days...I think that is one of our biggest problems..people that don't een know that they are in agreement slicing the others throat. Crazy indeed. ;-}
