JameelK: I dont know about all that.. im a Muslim, and i dont think im much of a threat to world peace.. people all have a different interpritation of everything you read.. My interpritation is very peaceful. I think most of the problems come from people being taught religion from there parents, who were thaught by there parents and so on.. and most of the misconceptions about Islam are actually where culture has been included..

As you've seen before i dont agree with Amir2 because.. i believe he's deluded like the rest of the nut jobs in my religion. but that is the fault of the teaching not the religion..

and to say no one speaks up against these people is making the same mistake Amir2 does with his statements.. I have spoke up against these people and i have helped our governmet in stopping them.. so we are not all the same..

i hope i've dispelled some of the thoughtsm but i doubt it. i hope im wrong..

Peace

p.s. Amir2 i still think your an idiot :-P

that was for wow factor btw

Jamee - you are a moderate, similar to my friends. However the moderates do not in public anyway speak out against the radicals who as you must have seen are very vocal even and especially in the UK. There are a few moderates who do speak out, but on the whole it seems not to be a widespread thing. Radical Islam is very frightening for those of us who value freedom to be ourselves in our own country without fear.

Ah Somerset - beautiful place, and you are very fortunate to be there.

You know I know hide my star of David to avoid getting derisory looks at best or spat at at worst when walking in Whitechapel (by the Hospital). When Islam stops misinterpreting the book to their own hateful agenda the world will be much better, but I can't see it happening.

Thats the point, in what people are taught.. we're supposed to read and believe the torah too.. but must of these idiots.. dont even know that.. I personaly think Judism is a great religion.. and again.. most muslims i know are taught to read The Quran in Arabic and they dont learn to understand the meaning. so the meaning is taught by others.. instead of reading the book in a language they understand themselves.. i've read them all and i think there mainly the same maessage .. maybe the New testiment is the most different. but my religion says i have to respect all three. Hey we're all Abrihams kids right ..lol well thats how i choose to see it.

Yeah i moved out here from London, when my kids were old enough to go to school. i wanted then to gain some English Culture.. and there isnt much of that left in London..

*waving a white flag* I come in peace!!!

Id just like to point out one thing. As a Muslim who grew up in a western country its quite fustrating to hear all the bashing about islam and what a dangerous religion it is an etc. Im sure the same can be said about christianity and jewdasm as well.

However saying that how fair is it to blame a religion for the actions of mankind? In the Kuran it says its a sin to kill another human (like it does in the other books of the Abrahamic faiths) but you have people of all races and religions killing each other. Why is it only when a muslim is involved that the religion is mentioned? I dont see a christians religion or faith mentioned when he or she kills someone?!? Is it possibly an agenda for the media to bring islam into the spot light? This is just an example..

Id have to agree that islam is not being taught properly. If it is being taught then it is not being practised as it is being taught and that is where the problem lies.

peace..

Amir2: morgan5: I do agree that there is a Minority of Muslims that don't follow the Quran they only follow those things from the Quran which suite there life style to such Muslim God Almighty Allah says in the Quran that there are many lips sake Muslims name sake fake Muslims who do not follow I would strongly recommend you that you should meet a true Muslim to know what is the life style of a true Muslim and then you will come to know that why I am showing you all this and claming that a Muslim male or female is not allowed to get married with a non believer who's an idol worshiper like the Christians clam that Jesus PBUH is God and is begotten son of God and is a part of trinity and Jesus died for the sins of mankind to such unbelievers Allah says in the Quran that don't marry an unbelieving women unless she believes means don't marry those (People of the Book) Jews & Christian woman who do idol worship unless they believe. If there are such Muslims who's wife's are not reverted to Islam then that marriage in Islam is forbidden. I do agree that there are black sheep's in every community who don't follow there religion
Religion is nonsence!!!

It was just your comment was directly under my post. Yes, of course, fair enough - some believe and others don't I totally believe in God but I am not an orthodox Jew. Different faiths have different degrees of observance and what is good for the not strictly observing should be fine and the strictly observing of that same religion should not try to make the less observant more observant. The less observant can find their own way if they want to become more observant. However I am vehmently against radical Islam trying to say that non-Islamists should be killed. Of course everyone in their right mind would think the same as me.
