Lookin4missright: Thanx Washy but already brain dead

It's a nissan patrol thingo, bloody monster truck

I drove it bout 3 mtrs into my garage last nite b4 bed, & nearly pooed my pants As the monster is manual i nearly bunny hopped it through the rollerdoor at other end of garage the crutch clutch is a bit touchy

Dont know how many gears its got yet as i have'nt driven a maual for sumtime? If its got 18 like truck i will be fine if only 4 or 5 ? Lucky R2D2 payed me cash to repair mine So i did'nt need to use my insurance so plenty insurance left for this week

I have manual and auto 4WDs, both Land Rovers. And a Peugeot, sequential shift. Trouble is, the oldest one (1971 manual) has the blinkers on the right while the other 2 have it on the left. Always have trouble trying to put the blinkers on. Half the time, the wipers are going.

Good that R2D2 paid up.

Blizzard14u: Get a better doctor! I thought I had a sprained ankle at work, went to doctors he thought the same but sent me off for X-rays to be sure, results on the Monday fractured leg, 9 weeks latter in brace leg still not good sent for MIR scan, shattered dome! In right foot! Long story still going on, I assured the doctors that I could now drive a truck while wearing a brace inside my work boot, I go back to the specialist in January, the initial injury was in May!

As for the new car crash, I am at present, trying to teach the kid how to drive, she is real good at driving but hopeless in car parks,

As a side note! I worked for an insurance company over here in the west along side the assessors and you can never be sure of the true cost of damage? One door could cost a $1000 and on a rare car model the car could be written off if its been under insured? I have seen people wanting their cars fixed only to be paid out for the insured amount,

thumbs up thanx blizzo,
yeh broke my right leg & ankle years back & still not the same. I'll go to work 2morrow but if it gives me grief, i'll go for x-rays.

Have about 50 sickies left but as you know, we make our $$$$$ on o/t & a basic wage would reduce my chinese food intake cowboy laugh

Yep carparks are more likely to attract more hazzards than on the road jmo.

Over the years i've been shopping at that s/centre, i've seen so many dings in the carpark than i can remember confused Always have a laugh with peeps at s/centre when there is a ding rolling on the floor laughing but this time i was'nt laughing crying

I think great idea to teach junior bout c/parks thumbs up

Myself i ALWAYS reverse into my driveway & car parking, just been a habit for many years. Easier to see when driving out while half asleep early in morns laugh And easier if i needed a jump start for sum reason, mainly when had old cars years back. Always flat batteries doh

One of my young staff has been complaining about how bad his 'foot' has been for months. Limping badly yesterday (bloody young bucks and their ailments). Walks around the office without shoes (I have no sense of smell). I tell him about my ankle "locking up" often and what I do to fix it. So he plays around with his ankle like I tell what I do for my "lock up and can hardly walk bit" and he says "bloody amazing, it helps."

He has a Specialist appointment in the City tonight about it. As he said tonight, what I told him seemed to fix it. I did stress that he should explain to the Specialist what I do that helped him as a "maybe fix" may not be his cure.

Sorry, lost the plot. What where we discussing?
