It depends how open minded the 2 people involved are and how prepared they are to build the differences into a loving relationship IE Know that some mis-understandings WILL arise due to the cultural differences. Both must be prepared to laugh about it. If not it can be used as something to be "picked on" when one or the other "feels in a bad mood or out of sorts". Not good!!

differences are not always an omediate understanding ...they come with time ...or years ...trying to criss/cross cultures has been alive and dying since the beginning of ...heard today from Canada ...a father and son charged with murder of wife ,and 3 beautiful daughters ...they call it ...honour ..or honor take your pick ...whatever stop all immergration of honour involved cultures here and now ! whether it be Canada,Sweden Denmark Or Norway..infact any european country ...these cultural differences are to great to be accepted into a social orientated society provided by those above mentioned countries ...------ This thread is Archived ------

I read your other post Horizon ... I was talking about 2 people from cultures where they both of them have the same rights, freedoms or lack of them, respect etc ...
Some cultures are so different from the way men and women are treated and treat one another that to go into a relationship with someone from such a culture would actually mean putting your own life in danger (mostly for women of course) ....
I would describe that as more than just cultural luggage

If you are afraid of cultural differences you can look for people close to you culturally. I think it depends from people who they want to chat, meet with. If cultural dependencies are not very important for them they may get to know more people here.

human being to my understanding are at least capable of understanding basic psychology to knows how to tame with another human being and especially if that human we are talking about are female nature,she speak volumes and cultural differency will be history to her/him
