Financial wealth - I wonder how people have invented the idea that to get more money, they need to wait for the minimum wage to go up. Or, that they could whistle - I hear some companies gives a few cents extra for exceptional attitude or they could strike. Or maybe the taxes gets lowered. And having a hard time to realize that the easiest way to increase the salary is to become more worth. Not in the sense of human being, father, mother or Christian, but more worth to the marked - this happens by accumulating more skills, more knowledge, its not easy to start study, or finding the time for it - but lets say you read a couple of books each month, or take some evening lectures - well you get the idea :)
I think desire work something like this:
You see something you perceive as beauty, you admire it, and you associate yourself with the feeling of the pleasure of having it - like one of those fast cars, a piece of cloth with nice shape or fabric, a "toy" or something with high perceived utility value - you start desire it, wanting it, and wanting it bad enough eventually leads to its manifestation, through will, the essence of desire.
Only disadvantage perhaps is with the pleasure of having it, the pain of not having it is created
Honesty, the big bad and ugly. Honesty does not always have to do with telling the truth. Honesty kill desire - you have a shirt, inexpensive - you have a apartment, mediocre - you are not hungry on a general basis - and being totally honest - you don't need much more of what money can buy.
So how does one trigger greed - I mean not lunatic greed, but, say, 100k/ year? :) if one wants absolutely nothing :s
