I ask myself this question pretty much 24/7. I do my best to be happy, upbeat, positive etc. but for the most part it is a facade of the real me. I loathe phoniness in other's, in part I suppose, because I recognize that trait in me. I've been told, just be yourself and my response is, I am, who else could I be? The holiday season is ,I think, the hardest part of the year for me personally to get through! It is the time when I feel most alone and yet I know that God is with me. It just feels like someone else should be there also to share it with. Please don't think I look for pity...I don't. I'm a surviver, a fighter and a lover of all God's creation. There is definately something missing though!
here some tips Do not stay alone at the holidays, go out with single friends although you may not like them much. God is a God but is far away. Search, ask, tell, take what you want and it will be given to you - says our God. The Human being is a herd animal and could not stay alone. Greetings

Thank you for your view, but I disagree with you in part. God is everywhere all the time. God the Father is a Spirit and he must be worshiped in spirt, truth and love. There is my problem. I feel his presence 24/7, but you can't verbalize in person, touch in person, walk in person etc. with a spirit. We all live in a physical world and need physicality with others. God also say's it is not good for man to be alone. That is why he created woman.
I hope I posted this correctly, I've always had problems with hi-liting and responding to other peoples quotes.

Thanx 4 your post galrads, but I have no problem at all socializing and meeting others. I do it all the time. Group activities and fellowship are great, but we all need and are looking for (or should be, perhaps) that one special person to be in your life that is'nt.
...and yes, it is definately party time here in Michigan. Yesterdays win was certainly a long time coming. I hear that school south of here is getting Urban Meyer as it's new coach. If so, things will get pretty interesting around here.
I do not think that you have any problems with hi-liting and responding to other peoples quotes. I understood you good. When you are on a very high level of the humans upgrowth you have a difficult questions. I do not be impolite but I am thinking that the philosophy is an unproductive knowledge because many questions just have not suitable answers or we do not like them. And then we stays in the magic circle what loose our time. Make the things simple.
because we have a 2 part one part are a soul and one are a body .we can connect from soul to god but for body too we need partner .god made all things male and female .and said i made a partner for all i made for go to relax and happy .you can pray with god in nature play with animals and childs and have a meditation and relaxtion and let your soul connect to first energy in world .and find a good partner for your body too .never dont forget you must care your soul and your body too .i hope you undertand my bad english .god bless you .

Hi Roserose 1...by hi-liting, I was referring to that part of your quote that I wanted to color, to make it stand out.
BTW...how are things in Bulgaria? I have some very good friends who moved from there to here. They still have family there and return twice a year. I have seen their pics and it is very beautiful there.
The things always are how you made them! We are OK in Bulgaria. I understand that you have many bulgarian friends because we are "beautiful" like the nature here. Yes, sometimes we work at another places the world but we always come back soon or late. How about the lovely Michigan?

Hi Sagittarius 0101 and thank you for your input. I believe we actually have three aspects to our being: 1. body 2. soul 3. spirit The body is where our soul dwells and is activated by the spirit God gives us. I agree with the rest of what you said and I understood it as well. God bless you as well my friend. I wish our two countries had better relationships with each other. God, our Father and Creator, loves diversity. We humans struggle to learn that lessen, I think. I think if we gave it more thought, we would find that we have more things in common with each other than we think.

It depends on your perspective. I try to see the glass 1/2 full. For me personally, minus the depression that comes with the holidays, everything is fantastic, but bound to get better; the day is still young. We are expecting our first snow of substance this coming week, but nothing we can't handle.

Being yourself or allowing yourself to be yourself means you don't have to beat yourself for feeling what you feel. Of course we feel lonely, like there is something missing (you're not the only one) but there is nothing wrong with us for having those feelings. I like the advice of those who tell us to go and do something. Don't dwell in these feelings as if there is something wrong you. Contact at least 5 women a day on CS or some other site, I like POF. Of course you may continue to be the self who beats yourself too. Yes we are never anyone other then ourselves.

Thanx 4 your input dadude! I never beat myself up over things I have no control of, but I do ask questions. That's the theme of this thread. I know and realize there are many people who feel the same way. It's always great to hear someone elses point of view, and I appreciate yours.

Thanks. OK let me put it another way. You are asking, "why do I feel so alone". To me, (I may be wrong) that sounds like you may be down on yourself for that. Doubting yourself maybe. We feel alone because we are alone and that is not a pleasant feeling, but that's how it is. It is what it is, (love that saying). No need to question yourself. Unless you feel like doing that. Evidently God is not all we need and he did give us free will which he will not interfere with. If he did we would not have free will and what would be the point of it all. If we did not have free will then it's all a puppet show and there would be nothing we could do for ourselves.
