I was raised in W.N.Y. and our family had a summer cottage in S. Ontario...
So I consider myself 1/2 Canadian...
I can think of a dozen places I'd absolutely Hate to live, here in the states....
but would be _Proud_ to live ANYwhere in Canada..!!!

I have never been to USA but would love to
I have met quite a few Yanks :-) as we call them here and they have only ever been courteous
I live in an old part of Dublin quite near a few tourists attraction's and any person from USA who has ever asked me for direction's have been so nice and many have even asked me to join them for coffee/drinks and that to me shows a lot about ppl ,been that i only gave direction's
So i would not "TAR" all with the same Brush

I think you should not judge all of us because we are Americans. Im sure there are Aussies that are full of themselves, but that doesnt make all Aussies bad...If you do not wish to visit here, thats fine, but hold your judgement until you actually visit and experience the American culture...have a super day mate :)

So it's been just a little over a year and wondering if you have had any spiritual awakenings in your vision of people hailing from the USA. Oh, and are there more USA citizens over running your Country a year later? I hope that you have made peace with them.

Most Americans that i've met are terrific people, for the most part they seem kind warm hearted and welcoming people, i for one like them. there are good and bad in any society, i even know some Aussies that are "full of themselves".
