Personally I'm here just for the Forums and sharing views etc. I have made many friends from around the World ,probably never meet them but the contact is good.Local ones well who knows
My personal opinion,these sites are good for some, disappointing for others.Depends what you expect and want from life I suppose.

Hit and miss use this site for the forusm and bannter made some good freinds on here they know who they are and some not so good freinds on heree they also know who they are.Good luck with your search.
Found dating site are made up of people that ahve had bad relationships trying o move on with their lives but, ussually fixated with their lats relationship and to scared to make the necesssary jump imho
Make friends ... have a giggle .. pass the time .. share views ... and just maybe ... Maybe .. meet that certain someone special

I have been her for some years now and had some super times on here with folks.
Yes there are the players as you get on all sites.
However, I did meet my partner last year on here and now we have our life together new house, dog the lot and in another country so its just how the cookie crumbles.
Maybe you are just searching for the impossible, also you do need to be vigilant with the scammers.
Both of us still have friends that we meet up with regularly from this site.
By the way how are you fixed for a twenty spot? just kidding!!
Less scammers would be nice for a start.
I have also made a lot of new friends on this and other dating sites simler.
I think most dont find love due to the fact that many people think love is made up from so many different things that they forget that love should not be worked on if it is real and natural and ment to be then it will be despite anything, but if it needs work then it probably is not ment to be and wont last [ as many will find ]

I tripped over this site ... supposed to be clicking on something else and up popped cs..
As for dating sites, I'm not sure about this site... it seems to be more of get together over drinks or coffee site... but I am seeing someone who met his ex wife on here, and there are others that have met someone, and eventually hooked up or got married...
I guess it all boils down to is how serious you are... how far you are prepared to travel... I have been told about other sites, and one site you spend an hour filling in a profile sheet, and then there's another that seems to be more focused on dating than the chit chat we have here...
It looks like CS seems to get friends together more than a dating site' its the same on our Aus site,have often wondered about why that is all I can come up with is the whole concept of CS has such a good set up that its easy to meet different people on here and to all join in for a chat.
We have had a few complain about it but it doesent stop anyone hooking up and a few have in the past' its staying true to its name of Connecting Singles which is what the forums are doing.
