try liddl.ie breaks. we had lovely weekend in waterford in marino hotel for 2 nights breakfast included for 140 euro . wasnt bad for 2 of us. they do it with a few hotels round the country .I wish I could say price is no problem but it is Ireland

I stayed in the Clarion in cork city night wacko jacko died..went to see Simple Minds in the Marquee..ended up getting chatting to the manager after the concert that night in the bar.., lovely guy..from start to finish tho (and esp for one them faceless hotels) our stay was fab..staff were all really friendly ..
A nice hotel that often has great deals is Dunboyne Castle, Co Meath
Its not really a hotel for family breaks, myself and a friend went a few times last year and used the spa, it was usually €19 up to €26 per person per night, great rooms and great spa, bar food is quite reasonable too

I'm gonna suggest The Wyatt Hotel is Westport!
Have stayed there a few times and the staff are lovely and the food is top notch!
Its a lovely hotel. Nothing new or modern about it now with no leisure facilities to boast but sure theres plenty of hotels close by offering them if necessary.
Patrons do however have the use of some local leisure centre located closeby.
Got a text the other day offering a RO rate of e40 for Feb 28th with the 29th thrown in for free!
Now theres a deal and a half!
Granted its mid week and not everyone can avail of deals like these at the drop of a hat but its an unbeatable deal all the same!
I swear I'm not on commission to try and sell it to you!!
Just from experience can highly recommend it!

my favorite hotel is langtons in kilkenny it is a lovely hotel great food lovely city
diamond coast hotel in sligo is nice but you need a car
D hotel in drogheda is a lovely hotel nice views and it is close to new-grange and boyne valley
rosslare strand hotel nice hotel nice food good atmosphere very clean etc near to kilmore quay and the rosslare ferry is 100 yards away

hi Annie stayed in this hotel in Waterford recently, couldn't recommend it enough, they were doing a 3 course meal and btl of wine for 49 for two people... it was fab...and accidentally ended up with a late check out, they were very good about it

Hi Annie ,check out supervaluegetawaybreaks.ie some super hotels
you need 400 points to book ,but they give you these free when you sign up for their club card (dont need to shop there to avail of offer).
Two amazing hotels...I loved ..
These two work out at €109 per person for three days B/B and one evening meal
and worth every cent...other hotels workout at €89 and €99...northern counties work out at £75 for three nights also..

Diamond Coast is in Enniscrone, fairly new and looks nothing like a hotel but really beautiful place all the same.

I have stayed in the Carlton in Galway it's really lovely, staff very friendly restaurant lovely live music every friday and saturday nite bus stops right outside the door to go into the city, beautiful swimming pool, kids club it's on the supervalu breaks too.
