Well possibly if EVERY girl you meet finds fault in you there might be something to it. Perhaps try a different approach to all things dating and improve upon yourself. You're never too old for a self improvement program. Empower yourself. And you're adopting the wrong attitude by thinking that it's all over for you by the age of 50. You still have some good decades in front of you most likely. Sounds as if you are just in a temporary rut. This too shall pass as all bad things are apt to do.

This is for you (Marss and Afternoon...) For some reason when I write this sort of thing, the thread gets pulled. Don't know why, but I'm going out on a limb and doing it again. Once more, with feeling...forget about finding someone on the internet. Go to where the women are--find a reading or writing circle, a folk gathering, a seniors or "over-forty" club. There are many, many choices. I really like the adage, "If the mountain won't come to Muhammed, then Muhammed will go to the mountain". Your experiences are not novel, and by your own description, you seem to come up empty-handed trying to find someone here. So, go to a real place, with real people (I mean nothing bad by this, I just think when people meet face to face it is a much different kind of "geography" then trying to figure it out online. It happens to the best of us. I dated a guy and it was like no matter what I did, there was a fault to it. From removing a piece of bread from the loaf wrong to waking up with my hair a mess. Fault finders are mentally challenge junkies, in other words... Fault finders get a rush from feeding off our weaknesses so they can eventually use them against us. It's nothing to do with you.. Honest! It's to do with them... They prey around until they find someone with a weakness, that's when the battle begins.. The battle they fighting isn't with you but within themselves. Keep your head up and never let them bring you down... :)
