2010.5.50am,15,july ,i was on patrol on bicycle ,came down from a slope toward a T junction ,right side was block by 2m covered fence...when I reach below rushing from that blind spot ,a bus ! So imagine slow mo,i sudden brake with my legs included and waited for Death . It came rushing and I was glaze by it's side door ...slow mo ...my handle flick n hit the door wit my right hand 4th finger,broke wit the bone sticking out !

In 2004 I adopted a baby raven for a month(till he could fly) with his parents approval.

My daughter was born 3 months pre - mature ..... Weighed only 510 gram = 1.2 pounds ... But she well and normal like any other 8yr old her age .....

My best friends daughter had twins 6 months into her pregnancy.
Had to be separated at birth as one needed to go to a special baby unit with breathing problems.
They are now 16 years of age.

Yes really .... She stay in the neo-natal ward for 77days .. Came out when she was 1.6 kilos ... Oh and her story was published in a SA magazine for being the smallest healthiest baby ... My little miracle ... Gives new meaning to life ...

But I personally think that you are a survivor anyway.
Sometimes we have to stand up in life and be counted.
As a sole parent bringing up children with no financial help from the father it was hard.
I taught my daughter to be a strong person and to be kind to others.
She now has her own business with 40 staff ,and one of her girls lost a baby stillborn at 7 months.
Melanie got all the staff and customers to donate something .She raised over £700 and gave it to the couple.It won't take away their ,pain but they wanted to buy a pedigree puppy so this was what they did.

I agree BB .... I admire you .. Your are blessed and so is your daughter to have a courageous mum like you .. Its never easy being a single parent ... I had the same issues .. Were it was all left to me .. But it only made me stronger .. I had a little being who depended on me for love and support .. There was no time for self pity ... I now have to be a good role model to Trinity ... And hope for the best ....

When my little pug Tucker was 14 months old he had a heart attack and got stiff as a board. I started giving him mouth to mouth and pumping on his chest and he came to and shook it off. I rushed him to the vet and ended up with a $1000.00 vet bill, but it was all worth it. I love my little Tucker.
