I was about 14yrs olod, when our new born puppies got poisoned with snail bait in my parent's backyard, quite by accident. They were all dying but I grabbed one and decided I would save it. So I consulted my 7th grade first aid book, for treatment for seizures through poisoning, as it was frothing at the mouth. My mother begged me to let it die in peace, but I didn't listen. It recovered beautifully and wouldn't stop following me everywhere and grew into a healthy, bouncy little thing.
