I have been reading some of the threads on here, and I am surprised by the amount of stereotyping and the braod generalizations about people that are offered up as the "supposed" truth.
Aren't we a bit more schooled in thinking than that? Or are there still people in the year 2012 that do not know a stereotype or generalization for what it is????
It is frustrating trying to communicate with people who rely on generalizations and stereotypes because they are false probably more often than they are true....

so true
the more one stereotypes, the more obvious it becomes that they haven't met many members of the group they are stereotyping
