Everyone remember to vote tommorow!!! Your vote DOES count! Have to work? Most state's laws require ALL employers to pay time off for workers to take an hour to vote. Not registered? You can register at the polling place, just bring your state ID & proof of address such as utility bill. Its your right!!! MAKE IT COUNT!professor

AWESOME! Its really neat how they think of everything to get people to vote...every polling place now has a machine for the blind, and a blow-sip reader for voters who cant use their hands! You all get 5 gold stars!!!

There's actually a state that will allow you to register on the fly like that? We have to be registered 30 days before, or we can't vote.

Granholm is gonna have us 'blown away' in 4 years, DeVos - although quite evil, is the lesser of the two. He wants to put $ back into the schools and he wants to 'fix' Granholm's other things which allow welfare for the life of someone. As to whether or not that's a 'fix', time will tell. I'm voting for myself in the election tomorrow, make your Michigan count vote - Prof in 06'! thumbs up

Yes, I know its the same for MN, ND, SD, and Iowa. You can register at the polling site. I was a volunteer at the college, to get students to vote. Funny your state still requires 30 days. If in doubt call your county auditor! They'll be busy tommorow, but they can help answer any questions you have.

Ok I'm a Michigan resident so my opinion is "give Granholm some support in the state and federal legistative offices". Devos's people have disturbed my sleep and supper too many times with unlisted phone number and out of state number campaign phone calls(alot from Texas). this may be stretching a comparision, but it gives me the feeling he'll be phoning in his job duties as well.(probably from Texas)
Plus that TV ad where there did that computer morphing thing and changed Bushes facial appearance into Devos and then turned Devos's facial appearance into Bush... that was scary, (same practiced smile and eyes) freaking great computer imaging... sounds lame for a reason I know.

But as you so aptly put it "Neither is a good choice......We have no jobs, people need State Aid, Take the State Aid along with the Jobs....and you have Homeless people....

How cute, you all really believe your vote counts, how charming.

After bush you think your vote counts.

2 years ago medical marijuana was voted legal by the popular vote here in AZ. 6 months after the people of AZ said yes the politicians made illegal for a doctor to prescribe medical marijuana.

Yes I will vote as I always have and I know the issues and people I will vote for. I am once again just choosing the lesser of the evils and I have no faith in the system or the people that run the greatest country in the history of man kind.

I didn't get 1 call from either of the reps for the candidates, which I guess is quite nice compared to your multiple ones. They don't harrass smaller areas perhaps, and focus on bigger ones in a time vs exposure formula?

Checked that already, and it's on the michigan dot gov website as well, citing:

"When. You must register at least 30 days before the election. This gives the clerk time to process the forms and send you a Voter Identification Card. You must also re-register to vote whenever you move to a new city or township."

I think that they're aware that our smaller area is decidedly DeVos and anti-Granholm as there have been attacks on houses and buildings just south of us that had the Granholm sign in the yard.
