Nahhhh I can't buy that. The same charges could be leveled at the UK (where I'm living at present, or France where I spent the best part of 17yrs) or any country. The grass isn't always greener.
There are loads of places in the US of A that even dods wont go near. There are parts of New York were rats are even afraid to venture out for a few scraps.
If you think Ireland is a 'dump'. Then instead of complaining about it and being negative. Why don't you look at what you think is wrong and try to change what ever is broken from the inside out. If anything it'll be doing something positive.

I moved to Ireland a couple of years ago and I do like it here. No country is perfect and has its plusses and minuses but if I didn't like it somewhere I just wouldn't be living there.

Well I lived in England, Australia Canada and USA and I would never denigrate Ireland in the general way you have. If I didn't love it I'd leave it. Has No one ever told you those big planes go both ways
