I trekked halfway across the world for love to a psychologist in New Zealand. Met her here in Texas and she drug me back to the Southern hemisphere. NZ is a beautiful country but collectively speaking the grass was not greener on the other side in that instance. I missed the States and the life I had back on the mainland.
However, I'm currently in Kauai for some months and have to say the grass is definitely greener here, all things considered! Surfing, hiking, luauas, and just living life on Hawaiin time(doing nothing) is assuredly better than life back in Texas.
So sometimes the grass is greener on the other side, sometimes not. It's worth taking the adventure/trip to find out.
