easiest thing is to get a quality media player (to connect to your telly) that will play practically any file type...
there's even a remote
for now (if you want to play on your pc) try divx player, or vlc media player is another one...
should both be available to download for free on downloads.com

the media player is just for convenience. relax on the couch watch it on the big screen etc.
