Those were good points Carl. That is what tough love looks like people. Still it's care. Now the OP got abit of each. Let's see what SHE gets out of it.
If she can't live up to Carls strict 'regime' she still have a shot at love, that's where i disagree with him.
Around here diversity does not stand strong enough imo.
That's what i like about Carl; he don't care what people think of him but follow his own head.
The kindness around here is often counterproductive.
But for achieving sympathy it's fine.

Sugar coating it and telling her lies to make her feel better are not going to help her.
I would like to add another suggestion, which is that she get a referral from her doctor to see a psychologist.
People who have her sort of weight issues usually have underlying psychological problems, which need to be addressed before she can make progress.

brokenlove,This is something I've learn' t over the years. Is that before we are in search of a friendship/partner what ever it is your looking for,we first need to understand the meaning of having a love affair with ourselves first. We will only attract what we are on certain energy levels. We need to look at what is it we have to offer ourselves first and be it on positives. keeping your options open and look in other area's besides dating sites too. Whether you have a disability or not this applies to everyone or anyone. Start setting some goals for yourself to improve any area's that you may dislike about yourself,and set some goals and boundaries with the people you wish to bring into your life. The reason I say these things,is because it seems you are feeling a little low self esteem,it is never too late to become positive and powerful,but being kind to yourself first is the best one to start with. :)
