If a guy tells another that he sent a fridge to somebody for whatever reason in a private mail, then that should be treated as private and not revealed in public, unless he asks first whether it is okay to tell.
Many things are revealed that should be private. It happens all the time in every day life because people just love to bla bla bla. Since this is not a serious matter, there is really no point to get upset. The guy should simply learn his lesson and not tell so much in the future.

I don't know if it is ethical or not, but in a thread as far back, 3 weeks ago, a poster reveal a full private conversation with a scammer.-I think it was very informative for some,and maybe an unethical revelation for some others.Certainly some of CS members learned,some of the ins and outs,of how a scammer operates.

Let´s start at the beginning..............you opened a thread about a rich man´s world, saying someone had called you stupid cos you had sent all your belongings, one of which was a fridge, to earthquake victims. That someone was me, in case anybody hadn´t grasped that by now, and it was made cos although I would help anyone who needed it, I would not beggar myself to do so.
The "lies" referred to your own profile, which you told me was not true.........cos you are Persian and live in Iran. You also told me you were a civil engineer, not a flying instructor.

When someone speaks an untruth about you and the only way to defend yourself is to post private mail, then perhaps, yes, one could post said mail, however, when it happened to me I chose not to post mail as I believed I would look much worse in the eyes of everyone for doing so.
All that had happened was someone calling you a fool, which is not something you can disprove by posting private mail.
And when someone then posts extracts from a private conversation it only makes both of you look fools, and untrustworthy, imo.
