KNenagh: I can't remember how old I was, I must have been fairly small. I always brought flowers home from the field for my mum and remember going through grass j to my higher than my hips and a cat trailing after me going up to my knees... Apparently that cat was following me everywhere outside and I always brought flowers home from the fields for my mum - still doing that today from time to time.

Hello KN --lovely to read your post handshake
I hope you are keeping well ?
Those sure are lovely memories from when you were very young , and i'm sure your mum thought the world of those flowers from the fields thumbs up
It very much shows how kind your nature is , even at that young age -

Mariannette: I have pots of memories from the house we lived in until I was 2. (which is across the road from where I live now)
My dad carrying me down the stairs and holding the top of my head because there was a low bit. I remember my older brother building a stack of teddies in my cot and pulling a chair over beisde it so i could climb out and get into his bed. (he's 18 months older than me)
I remember the blue and green curtains in my parents bedroom and of sitting on my mothers knee and my hearing my brother fall down the stairs.
None of these my brother can remember and my mother is surprised I can too. Clinbing up the stairs to my dads old workplace on my hands and knees. And walking across the golf course with our housekeeper to the post office. When I was 3 I was in hospital cos i stuck something up my nose and i can see clearly even now what the lift to the theatre was like and also the cots with the HUGE metal railing. Although the weirdest vivid memory I have is horses at my grandparents house and my dad carrying me out to see them. I can remember what colour they were too. But my father swears they were gone before I was even born!!!!!
the sticking something up the nose bit ...Snap...i did the same only problem is i was stuck with it up there for a few years till my nose got bigger, doctor said it would be the best option as was well stuck up there..i remember one day while playing outside it just fell out in its won time...memories heh ..ha ha

I have a number of memories from the first house I lived in and we moved when I was about 21 months old. The most interesting one was becoming aware that my thoughts had developed a language element and they weren't just in colour and shape any more.

I think i was about 2 or 3 and still in nappies, my brother (20 years older) was fixing floor boards upstairs, he hit a pipe and it was like a waterfall going into the sitting room...i remember thinking how much fun this is and running underneath it and getting soaked laugh
