pps My gransmother was born in 1900. She died in 1997. Great woman. She had 12 children. The youngest of which was my mother. I was born in 1974 when my grandmother was 74. How is that impossible? I saw the late great, Seve Ballesteros play in the Irish Open in 1978 (you were only a nipper then) in Portmarnock .............. Portmarnock was and still is one of our most famous links courses

I am not a golfer but it's a beautiful course. I think there are two courses in it actually. One 18 hole and one 9 hole but I could be wrong about that as I don't play.
The beach there is great too. Always people flying those huge kites on it and people doing kite surfing. It's a lovely quiet area with everything you need.
But appartently it doesn't exist.
