Yes, but Western women don't see it like this. Feminism has taught her to place herself, the woman, ahead of all things including her children and especially her Husband... the latter becoming almost a dirty word to these self-obsessed, overweight, good-for-nothing shrikes.

Family is the smallest unit system on a nation... Combination of love, commitment, togetherness, unity and solidarity that can not be compared with golds... It is not culture/tradition/religion thing...and it is a big deal...If you are not ready, do not try it...

And yes, family should be a place to harbor harmony, peace, joy, support..........love.
In the state that I am living at, 25 % of the homes have only one parent at charge of that family and guess who that is?
Yes only women that have not partner.
So, for them their family is: the Mother and her children.
Also, there are families were there is only a Father taking care of his children although I dare to say that they are less numerous.
My point to this would be:
Is your family the family that you want?
Are you building and preserving the family you want?
