Jesus also fed thousands with 2 fish but fish are not mentioned.

Because Jesus spoke in parables , “daily bread” does not necessarily mean bread.

What do you think?

Guzzy.....I think when the word "bread" was used it meant all kinds of food.

Just like saying "a car" it means all models of cars. JMO

It must be this. A big part of the mankind doesn't make bread. Some of them also are christians who eat rice or other things.

Nice to meet you! And from the get-go....I am not religious or skilled in the interpretation of ANY scripture,.....but in Christianity,....does not "bread" represent the body of Christ (and wine his blood?)? And.....having sat through a few Christian rituals,..something about the "bread of life"?

What do I think? Bread is required to make a tasty sandwich,.....and such is life,.....

Bit closer to what I was relating to. Yes he does refer to the bread as his body and wine as blood in a ceremonial gesture in the remembrance of him.

(Deuteronomy 8:3).
"Man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live"

But then in other parts of the bible it says that faith alone is not enough?

It was a bit presumptious of him to think none of the thousands had a wheat or a gluten allergy. conversing
