Ya.. now don't get me wrong, if everyone was doing 30+ hours a week black market + the dole, the system would collapse.
It would be hard though to report a fella for for a few hours a week nixers. Especially with with so many men in this country ready to put their head through a noose. A few hours here and there makes a man feel worthwhile. That resets his head.

I have no problem with someone doing a few hours here or there. I understand the need to feel worthwhile or even to get out of the house.
I have the problem with those drawing the dole and earning €500+ a week cash in hand on top of that. Especially when their 'employers' have very close links to those in positions of power.

Plenty Haughey, Ahern, Lawlor, Ray Burke. There is huge cultural tolerance for corruption from the pale across to Connemara, from Donegal down to West Cork.

My point was about there been very little sense of civic responsibility from the top to the bottom down in Irish society. Irish people condoning welfare scamming is a prime example of the lack of civic responsibility in Irish society.
Naturally that extends further to voting for corrupt politicians.
