Because in 5/10 years they are still alone because their girl found a hunk her age or lol younger, and will leave the 50+year old, drained him dry, so here he wIll be. All alone, ,a lot older, and all dried up. Hope the girl you wanted was worth it. Maybe they cant handle a real woman with wisdom and knows how to treat her man. When I was in the U. S. Marine Corps, I was stationed in the Far East and spent about 4 months in the Phillipines. I found the Filipino people very nice and warm towards the Americans! I met a Filipina woman online on another site who is everything I have looked for in a woman. I went to visit her in March and was not disappointed! She is working on her visa to come to the states to be with me. It looks as if she will have it in October of this year. Oh, and by the way, she is 50 and beautiful!

Best of luck! I am truly happy to hear love stories. I do think however once she gets over here...... you might not feel so sure about her attitude or weight gain.....

people come on here with big exspectations.after a time get to know many men/woman.....quite a few make friends...in short a social gathering.club....yes and we all flirt.....regardless of age.....looking for that one special person....then look into the real world...where you live/country/local.....its just common sence....would you relocate...all that upheavel....to be with somebody you have only spoken to and never met.....????....we are all special here....join in and enjoy.......forget about love....if it comes your way..then well done.....if not just shrug your shoulders....and just remind yourself....theres a real world behind you.........pete.

I have a plan - when I retire in 6 years from now I will live it - I plan to spend a lot of time in Scotland - I would like to met a nice man and share my life with him - I would like him to share his life with me. It would be great if I could make that happen sooner than 6 years from now.
So for vacation times in the mean time Either he comes here.... or I go there

Yes, love can be found anywhere.....be it in your local district, country or internationally. I've little of real importance tying me down to my geographic location but I understand for others it is not a viable option to move. And certainly, to make such a big decision on the basis of internet interaction alone would be lunacy - at least meet and spend some time together before committing.
And to get back to the thread topic, men of 50 and over can be very desirable, indeed.
