Ladies and Gents, At this stage in our lives(50+), we are who we are. I would think that most of us would rather be with a partner from within our age group. Often times we judge by the picture we see rather than the message in the profile. Father's Day was the first time I had been able to be with my children all together for quite some time. Of course I got all cleaned up and looking in the mirror I thought,Not too bad for a man of my age. Upon arriving to my Daughter's one of the first things she said was, Dad, your all dressed up and you look very nice. Of course this reaffirmed the way I was feeling and it was a very enjoyable visit with my children. Now why would I try to make myself look and feel better by showing up with someone the same age as my children. Life does constantly change, be who you are today rather than try to be who you were at 30.
jbarbara7164: Why is it that the men on this dating site 50 and up only want girls not women? It's sad ,let them get their girls, so us women can have the real men. Because in 5/10 years they are still alone because their girl found a hunk her age or lol younger, and will leave the 50+year old, drained him dry, so here he wIll be. All alone, ,a lot older, and all dried up. Hope the girl you wanted was worth it. Maybe they cant handle a real woman with wisdom and knows how to treat her man. Good luck to you looking for 18 to 30 .
That's all true. There are some sad people out there, fortunately I'm not one of them.."oh, And what you said goes for men and women, not just men!!!!!!

Me thinks wisdom would have had the knowledge to keep him.
For me personally and at my age, I'd much prefer to the presence of love from any age, to the jaded and embittered manipulations that sometimes comes with females aging.

arapaho: I am 55 now and can not get a date here in Brisbane Australia not even for a coffee and chat, 50 year old women have said i'm to old, unless they are as big as a small house, its hopeless. and believe i have tried, that is why so many men here are going to Asian country's and getting younger women,,,I have been advised to do the same,,, and if i do then who could say i'm wrong,,,no one !!
I happen to know several women who, like me, are professionally educated and cannot find a man that suits them. They, like me, prefer to stay single unless the right man comes along. (None of them are seeking some-ne much younger and wealthy!)
I assume most people are looking for the RIGHT one...not just ANY one. And yes, I DID meet the man I was seeking in the real world....sadly he passed away. I know these men exist, it is just finding them.

I understand your point here as to how it may apply to you but it's beyond me why you have any expectation that everyone else should see or want things as you might.

I'm thinking that Ken isn't living in a fantasy world...good for him keeping it real like that.
