for myself I find it difficult to be vulnerable, so I sympathize with men who can feel that way..... the reality is that many women are not really prepared to see men in that way….

but if you mean been open and express feelings/emotions in a relationship,.. yes I amwine

Absolutely, without it, you're merely a cardboard cutout with no depth or sense of humanity.

I found a strawberry with a beard today, is it a sign of Christmas coming? uh oh

Awww Jill, I love the hot weater, even though the strawberries might not. laugh

I know, winter's coming soon, I know it better than most do, being that I live in Canada. A couple months from now we could have snow, that lasts for 6 to 9 months.

It's a crazy planet....and then you come to Canada.laugh

Bogart hug
i think a lot of folks find it difficult to be vulnerable (men and women) but i don't agree with you about most women not being prepared to see men that way.
it's that lack of being vulnerable...gotta be the tough guy...that can keep a wall between two people in a relationship.
and folks will make their excuses, we all do, i do...but having the courage to be vulnerable with another is the only way to really have the kind of partnership i am looking for. it's gotta be both partners taking the risks, and sharing the love.

I agree. If you are unable to be totally open then there will always be a barrier the bigger the risk the greater the payoff it seems in this life.

I think being vulnerable shows that you are confident in your partner and can trust in your partner, it shows that you care enough to put your pride aside, are strong enough to let your barriers down and it shows raw honesty.

Being vulnerable can sometimes be a positive thing as well as be a negative thing.
