Its raining here to merri, even still this bird popped by to see what i was doing sitting on the veranda

So, I drove to work, camera besides me at the ready... and what did I get...
Fog... so thick that even if there had been a bird about.. I would not have been able to see it... I was struggling with seeing dark grey cars... Jeez, but they don't stand out in the fog well..
So tonight after work, I went for a walk, to China Town.. always small spoggies in those trees there... so I spot a couple... and as if they knew... by the time I shove my glasses on my head and turned my camera on... just at the moment I was going to click, off they flew...
Luck of a stiff white rabbit comes to mind..

Sulphur Crested Cockatoos... eating in a pine tree.. noisy things..
So, there was no fog in the city, found the tree with the Sulphur crested, and as luck would have it , they were all there.. so I took this one.

and they come to mine as well... they fly in huge groups...
Funny thing, some people buy these to put in cages... I can never work out why, there are so many about eating the pine nuts.. sad really...

Truth is Happy, I was down at the beach, and this couple left a bag of spilt chips, and the gulls came hopefully, and for a while there, they were all contentedly screeching around and eating, then this little doggie came sniffing, wanting his share, so the gulls all alighted on that there pole.. and watched wistfully as the little doggie ate the chips...
