Then you should realise it is not reality and therefore false.Since a psychosis is by its very definition a loss of reality.

People, groups, society needs something to believe in, it provides cohesion, a purpose, a goal to strive towards, without which people tend to either A. think for themselves and revert to primitive instincts or B. become lost and confused without a purpose in life. 'God' is a convenient belief system that keeps people in check, on the 'straight and narrow' so to speak! laugh

I have no idea how anyone could believe it and I dont care tbh. I know its a load of horsehite and thankfully I coped on in time to rear my children to realise that to.

'God' was a convenient answer to the great wonders of the world that early man encountered. Obviously they hadn't the technology or means to explains why the sun rose and set, why the seasons came and went as they did, why great storms or disasters happens, so, these things were put down to a greater power, a higher being.....and why not, only such a mighty being could be capable of such things. handshake
