see i changed my car from a 1.2 engine size, to a 1.8 engine last feburary, i think thats why they hit me with a high qoute

You are supposed to disclose all relevant info when getting insured. You didn't so it's your fault. And if you have an accident and they find ot you're on strong meds they wont pay out and they would be perfectly within their rights not to pay out.
