I interview more than I care to laugh

Interview questions are usually around the key aspects of the job, therefore they are looking for you to demonstrate your experience and knowledge and ability around the job. How you come across in the interview is very important, dress professional, be professional but yet warm, friendly (not too friendly), approachable.
Really depends on the level of the job.
I know what the key thing I am looking for and can tell sometimes in the first 5 minutes that I want to hire someone, I just sit hoping that they answer the rest of the questions lol
Most questions are scored to ensure fair interviews.
I'm frigging interviewing again soon dohignore me I'm just tired laugh

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ring for feedback on application, and interview, regardless if successful or not.

MermaidDreams: Usually employers give you some sort of feedback on how they felt the interview went, that's how it's happened with me anyway but I guess it depends on the role/company you're applying for a position for/with. I'd say that you'd have a fair idea yourself how things went, based on vibes in the room and being aware of your own confidence levels. At the end of the day you can only be yourself.

Employers are looking for the right person for the job - from their point of view. If it's what you really want then I hope you get the job!
Have to disagree with you about employers looking for the right person for the job ,you cant ascertain from a short interview ones caliber .Most companies dont even bother to read your cv or résumé they have filtering policies but wont admit this . Some interviewers sit there and read your cv probably first time ever which can be very condescending towards you, and ask you the most silly questions sometimes .Its very hard today with the present work climate and a lot of companies are inundated with appliciants.Very common practice still going on today in most Irish companies its not what you know but who you know thumbs up

What you can bring to the company is your experience, knowledge, enthusiasm, (expand a little with brief summary of said) match this type off thing with the fact you are always open to learning, gaining new experience, good people skills, honest, reliable etc etc
If they ask what makes you the best person for the job say, you don't know if you are the best person as you don't know the other candidates, however you do know, you will give your best to the job and feel you have alot to bring to the post; team or whatever.
Jesus there is so much you can say to that question, take the bits you feel comfortable with.
Be confident but not cocky, be genuine (yourself) prepare for the interview by going of the job spec and description and preparing yourself for any question.
At the end if you have no question to ask, don't force a question, but always use the opportunity to say however I would just like to add, then add whatever you want your departing shot to be, a key strength you have. Last person I hired was neck in neck with another candidate, the parting shot won it.
Sorry there is so much, basically prepare for the interview, that way you will feel more confident and always highlight all your experience/knowledge, winning combo.

Have your cv spellchecked

Be about 10 mins early
If asked, be able to mention a couple of your strengths and weaknesses.
Maintain good eye contact,
Firm handshake,
Smile,
Use open gestures (as in don't fold your arms)
And dress well
