Morning folks, while this was posted on another thread, i though you all may read more into it than some of the otherswink

Some paths we are shown while some we find.
Some paths are dark while some shine.
Some LIE flat out while some in Truth you climb.
Some you miss or pay no mind,
while others ventured are truly unkind.
Some present choices from which we learn,
while messages in others we cannot discern.
On some our pace is quickened with desire,
while others are traversed in gloomy dire.
Fear not the path followed, nor the hurdles there.
For each path traveled teaches those who care.

yet another;

Who am I?

I am HE
or perhaps a SHE
though quite certain I am, that I am a HE corporally
Though, thats not enough I thinks
to know the nature of Ones' matter
To measure the latter
by means of zeitgeist chatter
is no Means by no means
effectively explicative of me
That Me who is HE, and He that is apart of ME
If I am not out there then where do I begin?
In here I thinks, this undefined local within
For I live in here, the there where none can see
where I alone reside and ultimately must BE
As I sit now pondering the credulity
of this I, who is comprised in me
I come to see unquestioningly
that Me is developed from HE
the HE who travels the waters of life
the HE who one day hopes to find a wife
the HE who longs for simplicity
the HE who dives deeply in the See
the He who does what I will
the He who vows
the blood of innocence by my hands shall never spill
the HE who loves learning something new each day
the HE who can make mistakes with the words I say
the HE who thrives on a genuine friendship
the HE who values honesty and respect with every step
I too am HE who's heart does know
the sorrow of loves dying glow
And though no fault or malicious intent was made
I AM HE Who played his part in letting if fade
In the end I have to concede
that I alone am HE responsible for my deeds
And though all these things I may BE
there is soooo much more yet hidden to see
While there be more to HE
ultimately all of it becomes a part of Me
That me who is I
THAT I who is He?
Just me SD

HAve a great day all
peace

A morning thought - from martial arts:

Many paths, one summit.

See you all tonight I expect...
Peace, love & joy.

Alas, I awoke in my own bed and I haven't been turned into a bowl of petunias so, life must return to what I call normal. The Dragon dude from out west is up early it seems and Gibs and Jonquille are still searching for another free cup of coffee.

Life will always be what you expect it to be.

We need some more differing opinions now me thinks.

By becoming attached to names and forms, not realising that they have no more basis than the activities of the mind itself, error rises and the way to emancipation is blocked. -Buddha

Did a bit of reading this morning and found this of interest:

"Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal God, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural & spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity". - attributed to Albert Einstein

Moving right along - cut and pasted this from a post I made to the Dali thread in October. In the artist's own words:

"I believe that the moment is near when by a procedure of active paranoiac thought, it will be possible to systematize confusion and contribute to the total discrediting of the world of reality."
