Today the first scripture in my devotional was Psalms 27:1 I've been having some troublesome times and when reading it, peace flooded through me
Psalms 27:1 NKJV The Lord is my light and salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, Of whom shall I be afraid

I do have a lot to be thankful for...God didn't forget to wake me up this morning, that being first and foremost...it amazes me how he continually floods my life with blessings, most unexpected

had the most amazing thing happen to me in WalMart, first when I pulled up in the parking space, the space in front of the there was an elderly lady pulling into it at the same time...well, anyway I'm over at the toothpaste aisle getting my usual brand and low and behold there is that lady, we start chit chatting about different brands and go our ways...well I pickup a few more things and head to the grocery side, I come around the corner and boom, there she was...so she starts talking and the conversation somehow turns to religion, I promise I don't know how it did, but anyway I told her yes I was a Christian and why I even felt compelled to tell this woman what has been going on in my life the last 1 1/2 is beyond me, but just talking with gave me such a peace....anyway I go checkout go to my truck and there she is, getting in her vehicle...she just smiles and walks over and tells me "hun, I just want you to know that God's not done with you yet, he has a lot in store for you".....
The last couple of days I've been very sad missing my Mom...Nov 3 will mark the one year of her passing...this woman reminded me of my Mom so much it took all I had not to cry in WalMart...on the drive home I got to thinking, God sent this woman my way to give me some kind of comfort from missing my Mom...it is one of the most wonderful thing to happen to me. I just wanted to share
