Or....they haven't associated your NAME (when you've provided it to them) with YOU.

A lot of fakes are corresponding with so many, they don't want to take the chance of getting names mixed up, so they resort to PET names.

Another definite deep RED FLAG is when they furnish their private e-mail and IM address in first contact wanting to go private INSTEAD of using the dating site's facilities such as e-mailing, and the Instant Messengers furnished on other dating sites.

Do you mean calling you by a middle name...for instance, if your name is Mary Lou or Rhonda Sue, they call you Lou or Sue, instead of your full name?

Do you prefer to me called as "Linda Sue"? I know it's a Southern heritage, and maybe others too, to be referred to my first and middle names together....that's really a woman's complete first name. Is this what you meant?

Is so, by insisting upon calling you just "Sue" it could be for a lot of reasons. One may be that he's being sarcastic.....another reason could be that he likes the name "Sue" or the name "Linda" reminds him of another woman he's known in a negative way.

No I use my first name. But when he found out my middle name he wouldn't stop calling me by it. He never used my first name. But he's gone just no spark but that bugged the heck out of me. I never use my middle name but in legal documents or when I have to. Maybe was his other g/f's name?? hummm thats a thought.

Yes Linda could have been an ex-wife's or ex-girlfriend's name, or he could have been communicating with other's by that name at the same time as you, and you were the only one that he knew the middle name of.

If you let him know that you didn't want him calling you Sue, he could have kept doing it just to aggravate you. Be glad there was no spark and he's gone. LOL

The red flag might have been the hat....

Or the fact that red might pertain to cool___guy.

Should we call him cool blue guy now?

Nah...just call him Vinny...
