Very good point.
I was once married to what turned out to be a nut, but I was too young to know what I was doing yet and placed myself in harm's way.

I thought of another red flag and I realized it's probably my biggest.
Someone else mentioned it, but secrecy is a direct indicator of dishonesty.

The most popular colour used on flags is red

Red has been the most popular colour throughout the century. Although it has declined from appearing on 81% of the flags surveyed in 1917 to 74% in 1999, it is still the most popular colour used on flags today.

As indicated earlier, red is the most popular flag being found on 74% of all the flags of the world today

Off the top of my head flags that are majority red are- China, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Turkey.... i think Vietnam too

I hope this helps with your school project Lion

Or maybe when they tell you nothing at all. That would be a pretty good sign I'd say.

When they haven't viewed your profile (which is hard to determine on this site now) but used to be able to here, and still can on other sites. They haven't viewed your profile before contacting you, and still haven't after numerous contacts and interactions.

When you ask them about something they have posted on their profile and they don't answer, just ignore the question and change the subject. Even after asking the same question several more times in separate communications and they still don't answer, or when they do finally answer they give opposite information than what is on profile.

Also, asking a person any question which is not of a private or personal nature and they won't answer.

When their age difference is really a lot younger than yours, or even a lot older.

When they live at a really far distance from you, but still say they want to meet you in first communication.

Using pet names such as Sweetie, Babe, Cutie instead of your first name, especially when you refer to them by their first name; this especially in first contact, and also in following contacts.

I stated in my post when they use pet names INSTEAD of your first name when it's been provided to them, and especially when you refer to them by their FIRST name. I didn't mention anything about getting mad because of it, but it is definitely a RED FLAG!
